Terms and Conditions

About us

Ladybird Handmade Soap is a small family business based in London. All our soaps are made by hand in the UK using 100% natural ingredients. We hold full Cosmetic Safety Reports and Allergen Declarations confirming that no allergens are identified in our soaps.

Ordering

When you place an order, you’ll receive an email to confirm we’ve got it. We’ll then send another email once your soaps are on their way. If a product is unavailable, we’ll let you know and issue a refund right away.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is taken securely at the time of ordering. Delivery costs are shown at checkout.

Delivery

We post using Royal Mail or another reliable courier. Delivery times are estimates and may vary slightly. If your parcel doesn’t arrive, please contact us and we’ll help resolve it quickly.

Returns and Refund Policy

You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind. Please email [email address] before returning anything so we can send you the return details. Items must be sealed and unused. Once we receive them back, we’ll issue a refund within 14 days.

If your item is faulty or damaged, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll replace it or refund you, and we’ll cover the postage costs for faulty items.

Because our soaps are personal care products, we can’t accept returns once the seal is broken unless the item is faulty.

Product care and safety

Each soap is handmade, so colour and scent may vary slightly from batch to batch. We comply with all UK Cosmetic Product Safety Regulations and carry valid CPSRs and allergen reports. While our tests show no allergens, everyone’s skin is different, so please check the ingredient list and do a patch test before use. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that the product is suitable for their skin.

Liability

Ladybird Handmade Soap holds public liability insurance up to £1,000,000. We take great care to ensure all products are safe, tested and compliant with UK regulations.
