During the quiet days of the lockdown, I was looking for a way to express my creativity, and Ladybird Handmade Soap began. What started as a small experiment quickly grew into a true passion as I discovered the calm and joy it brought me. Over time, I kept refining my recipes, guided by nature, inspired by customer feedback and expert advice, and driven by curiosity until each bar felt perfectly balanced.
The name Ladybird has a very personal meaning to me. When I was a child, my father used to call me Ladybird, and I have always carried that memory close to my heart. It reminds me of care, warmth, and a deep connection with the natural world that I’ve loved since childhood.
For me, making soap is a creative expression of that love for nature. Every bar is a small piece of art, made with intention and respect for the Planet. I believe in working in partnership with nature, protecting it through every choice I make. That’s why my soaps are crafted from 100% natural and organic ingredients, free from chemicals and animal-derived products, and wrapped in biodegradable, recycled materials.
While I’m deeply committed to sustainability, I also want each bar to bring a sense of calm indulgence, a small moment of luxury that feels like a spa experience at home. The natural, earthy wrapping reflects the simplicity of nature, while the soaps themselves are made to soothe, nurture, and remind us that caring for ourselves and the planet can go hand in hand.
